As I sit here, looking out over the spectacular autumnal display of vibrant and rich colours, I am reminded of the meaning of the Days of Awe and how small we humans are in the grander scheme of G-d's handiwork on this planet. What a place to behold!
I've always found it a little bit humbling when confronted with Nature and I almost believe that G-d must be a woman to have conceived so many whimsical notions. I know, I know...it's contrary to what the rest of you think, but honestly, when looking at some of the species of birds and flowers that exist a person has to wonder.
During the year, when learning about the latest Islamo-fascist atrocities being perpetrated against innocent humans, a feeling of dread and depression does overwhelm us, and often we lose our perspective and faith that all will be well. I guess it takes days like Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur to remind us that there is a greater being watching over us. And maybe that's why G-d made some of Nature so fanciful and full of whimsy - to keep our spirits high. Perhaps, a walk through the woods and appreciating His imagination is just as important as going to shul in these days of Awe. It certainly puts things into perspective! Shana tova, everyone.

09/29/06: Thoughts for September 29th, 2007
09/29/06: Shalom!
Shalom! Welcome to the Pamela Goldstein/Boker Tov radio show website. We're just setting this site up so bear with us as we go through our growing pains and 'technical difficulties.' My cohost and music director, Elon Einy, and I are very excited about this site and we hope that you will enjoy visiting us here. We'll have several features on the site: the latest that is happening on the show, discussions about our guests and the knowledge they gave us and whether or not we agreed with them. We will also be featuring Jewish writers and writers who write about Jewish topics and topics that interest Jews. Right now, we have the prologue to one of my manuscripts, but that will change, unless of course there's an agent or publisher out there who would like to print my book!!
Under the Boker Tov section we will have some of the music we featured on the show that week and hopefully, hopefully have an interview of our featured artist of the week. For those of you who listen to the show you know we are the only station in North America where you can hear the latest Jewish music in North America and the top hits of Israel (thanks to my music director Elon).
So sit back and relax and take your time exploring the site. L'hitraote!
