If you know me at all, then you know how much I love books and writing. It's one of my passions in life. Starting this month, we will have a new section on the show, The Writer's corner. We hope to interview writers and discuss the latest books on the market that we think will be of interest to our listeners. We will also be discussing the art of writing. Our first guest will be Gordon Kirkland. We have had him on the show before and he was a true delight.
Gord writes a weekly article that can be read in many newspapers all over North America. He is the recipient of the Stephen Leacock award twice(!)for his humourous writings. And when he is not writing, this great man is out at writers' conferences teaching his craft to anyone who will listen. That's how I met him. I attended the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop and he was there. I laughed myself silly while listening to him.
